She understands the very real safety gaps that exist in schools, workplaces, churches, and public spaces—and she is committed to making lifesaving equipment simple, accessible, and unintimidating for everyone.

Her leadership ensures AED Empire remains female-owned, family-built, and driven by a mission to protect the people who matter most.

Dustin Talacko is the President of AED Empire and an active Firefighter/Paramedic working on a busy ambulance in one of Omaha, Nebraska's most underserved areas. His career challenges him mentally, physically, and spiritually every day—and he considers it a privilege to bring light to people during their darkest moments.

In 2018, Dustin and Jill founded what is now AED Empire, originally specializing in bleeding control equipment. After repeatedly witnessing preventable tragedies and clear safety gaps in the community, Dustin recognized the urgent need for public and private facilities to be prepared for high-risk, low-frequency emergencies.

Through his real-world 911 experience, Dustin matches those safety gaps with the right lifesaving equipment—from major bleeding control to AEDs to the training required to use them effectively.
